Hyderabad, March 10: The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has announced the results of the Group 1 examination, marking the culmination of a process beset by significant delays and legal challenges. The commission has also confirmed that the results for the Group 2 examination will be released on Tuesday.
Telangana PSC Releases Group 1 Examination Results
The announcement brings an end to a protracted period of uncertainty for candidates who initially applied for the Group 1 positions in April 2022 under the previous administration. The initial recruitment drive, which included a preliminary examination in October 2022, was marred by allegations of a question paper leak, leading to the cancellation of the results. Subsequent attempts to conduct the examination were further complicated by legal challenges alleging procedural irregularities, resulting in additional cancellations.

Following the change in government, the TSPSC issued a revised notification, increasing the total number of Group 1 posts to 563, including 60 newly added positions. The mains examination, which saw participation from 21,093 candidates, has now concluded with the release of the results.
Candidates can access their individual results through the official TSPSC website.
The commission has also stated its commitment to expediting the release of pending results, with all competitive examination results expected to be published by March 20.
