Earlier tonight, tensions rose between India and Pakistan. India carried out air strikes on three major Pakistani air force bases—Nur Khan Airbase in Rawalpindi, Rafiqi Airbase in Shorkot (Punjab), and Murid Airbase in Chakwal (Punjab). These strikes were a response to repeated drone attacks and ceasefire violations by Pakistan over the past three days.
Pakistani Fatah-II Missile Aimed at Delhi Stopped in Sirsa

In reaction to India’s actions, Pakistan launched a military operation called “Operation Bunyan ul Marsoos”. As part of this, Pakistan fired a Fatah-II long-range missile targeting Delhi. However, the missile was successfully intercepted and destroyed by Indian defense systems in Sirsa, Haryana, before it could reach its target.
The Fatah-II missile is a surface-to-surface weapon and can hit targets up to 400 kilometers away. It poses a serious threat, but thanks to India’s quick response, the missile did not cause any damage.
Indian Security Forces on High Alert

On Friday night, for the second day in a row, Pakistan sent drones to attack 26 different places in India—from Jammu & Kashmir to Gujarat. According to the Indian Defence Ministry, these attacks were aimed at key locations like airports and air bases. Fortunately, Indian defense forces were able to stop them in time. However, in Ferozpur, Punjab, a few family members were injured during the drone attacks—these were the only reported injuries from the night strikes. As a safety measure, Indian states near the Pakistan border went into blackout mode.

According to government sources, India used drones and air-to-surface missiles during its strikes on Pakistani air bases. The attack reportedly caused serious damage to Pakistan’s air force, and many of their planes could not be started or used after the strikes.
India’s action was a direct answer to Pakistan’s attempts to attack Indian Army bases and civilian areas, government officials said.
Earlier on Thursday night, India had already taken strong action by shooting down about 300–400 Pakistani drones that entered airspace across 36 locations in North and West India.
