IAF AFCAT 2025 Selection Process
Written Exam (AFCAT)
- All eligible candidates appear for the AFCAT online exam (MCQ-based).
- Candidates applying for Ground Duty (Technical) also take the EKT (Engineering Knowledge Test).
AFSB Interview (Air Force Selection Board)
- Shortlisted candidates from the written exam are called for a 5-day AFSB Interview.
- It includes screening tests, psychological tests, group tasks, and a personal interview.
Medical Examination
- Candidates recommended by AFSB must undergo a thorough medical test at IAF medical centers.
Final Merit List
- Based on performance in the written exam, AFSB interview, and medical fitness.
- Final selection is done as per availability of vacancies in different branches.
