| Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) | Candidates must have a Graduation Degree (or appearing in final year) with at least 50% marks and must have 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education or 1-Year B.Ed Degree. Candidates with Class 12 (50% marks) + D.El.Ed are also eligible. |
| Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) | Candidates must have a Post-Graduate Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks. The PG subject must be studied at the graduation level. Candidates must also have B.Ed or M.Ed with at least 50% marks. |
